TURCK DeviceNet SODA Skids

This application is the use of mulitiple I/O points mounted on skids. Each one of these cylinders has multiple I/O points. Rather than wire all of these points back to I/O cards in the PLC, this user implemented DeviceNet to make the skids easy to connect at the job site. Each skid has a number of points that are connected to TURCK AIM stations on DeviceNet. Each skid has 20 DeviceNet AIM stations nodes with about 160-200+ points of I/O.

With the use of the AIM stations and molded cordsets, the skid builder can easily connect all I/O without the worry of wiring errors. Notice that all connections are pre-made. The skids were designed on AutoCad and therefore the cable lengths were easily determined.

DeviceNet technology with the use of TURCK AIM stations make this skid builders products much less costly to create and have future ease of servicability for the future owner of the skids.
